The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce has been working since 1944 to promote area businesses. The mission of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the economy by providing information, services, leadership and vision. We have developed programs and events to support member businesses and are a strong advocate on issues of interest to the business community. The chamber works with government entities and other organizations to improve general economic and business conditions, to help make this area the best it can be.
Our diverse membership includes home-based businesses, non-profit organizations, family businesses and large national companies. The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation was formed in 2003 to provide education enrichment and leadership development for local schools. During the five years since its inception, the SBCF has benefited this community by funneling $1.1 million in programs to local schools.
The South Baldwin Chamber and the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation work together to make this area a great place to live, work and play.
The Gulf Coast Balloon Festival is a signature event created in 2004 to benefit these organizations.
