With it's growth, Foley has become an improved infrastructure that includes utilities, transportation services, hotel accommodations and educational, recreational and medical facilities. And, with this growth, the city has renewed its commitment to maintain a quiet and quaint residential atmosphere. Foley's neighborhood streets are lined with ancient oaks.
Movement throughout the city is relaxed. Citizens still stop to chat along the sidewalks. And, living up to its name, the Tree City still distributes free, thousands of trees each year to continue a tradition of keeping the city green.
